 Twinfix is a large-scale stockist of multiwall polycarbonate sheet, with a service that includes providing ready to fit, cut to size, blown and taped panels. In addition, Twinfix also stock solid polycarbonate sheet - ideal for anti-vandal and security glazing purposes, as well as for such mundane things as machine guards. Needless to say Twinfix range of structural glazing bar and rafter glazing bar systems has grown massively over the years, and Twinfix now offer one system, the Twinfix P287/288, that will free-span 4m when glazing 16mm or 25mm multiwall polycarbonate or 2.6m when installing a 24mm double glazed glass unit. Twinfix via the Iraq UK Gateway welcome your questions if you need any advice as to which bar you should use in your particular application.

In 2012 Twinfix developed a modern day alternative to Georgian wired glass, Twinfix GW Polycarbonate. This is a 6mm solid polycarbonate sheet that mimics the appearance of the original glass product, but that has all the benefits of polycarbonate. This is available with both a glass clear finish and also a pebbled finish that offers excellent light diffusion without clear transparency, making it ideal where a level of privacy is required. This is also an excellent product for use where Heritage issues are a concern.

2013 sees further product developments with the introduction of the Twinfix aluminium rainwater system that can be powder coated to any colour to match and blend in with any scheme. The downpipes have been designed to fit flush to the wall making these a great product to use within schools – preventing unauthorised climbing up the downpipes! And, being aluminium, they will keep their good looks without rusting should they get the odd scratch over the years.

The very latest development in the Twinfix product basket is pressed aluminium flashings. The company is very enthusiastic about these as our machine is capable of producing a flashing that is 4m long, much longer than most in the marketplace. We welcome your interest in this exciting new product.

Solid & Multiwall Polycarbonate

 As major polycarbonate suppliers in the United Kingdom you are able to choose from our extensive range of stock. Twinfix holds many different sizes and thickness of both solid and multiwall polycarbonate in a selection of different tints, including clear, opal, bronze and Venetian – a thin white stripe printed on clear multiwall polycarbonate. Twinfix latest addition is GW Polycarbonate, a solid polycarbonate glazing sheet that mimics the appearance of traditional Georgian wired glass but with all the benefits of polycarbonate.

Glazing Bars & Fixing Accessories

Most of our glazing bars are manufactured from aluminium, so they won’t rust in use. The majority of these are 60mm wide to hold multiwall polycarbonate safely and securely in place, although Twinfix do offer slightly narrower bar systems for use with thinner grades of multiwall. Many of Twinfix bar systems can also be used to install glass; we’ll be glad to discuss your requirements with you should you need any assistance.
Canopies & Walkways
In addition Twinfix also offer commercial canopies and covered walkways, as well as kit canopies and domestic patio covers and carports. Again, these are manufactured from aluminium so will keep their good looks for years to come. The polycarbonate roofing sheets on our canopies can be either multiwall polycarbonate or solid polycarbonate, depending upon requirements.

Many years ago the company developed an innovative rooflight system, the Multi-Link-Panel, that combines an aluminium frame with multiwall polycarbonate glazing using a quick to fit method of installation. This has developed further and is now manufactured as a Non-Fragile system and is also available as Multi-Link Thermal.
